My story is all about adventure and the love of dogs. In 2007, my husband and I made the decision to leave Belgium and start calling New Zealand home. Our dogs, Dot, a rescue pointer cross, and Dits, a Border collie, joined us on this life-changing journey. Soon after arriving, I started Trainimals, an owner and dog training business. Dits has always been my loyal training assistant. I met Geoff in 2008, when I was looking for raw dog food; we connected immediately, sharing the same passion for dogs and using similar training methods. As my business grew to a point where it became too large to keep on working by myself, the decision to become part of the exciting new Dog Centre KURI was a natural choice. I am now part of a larger team and we have the resources to help even more dogs and educate people! Outside KURI, I spend heaps of time going on adventures with my old Dits and my husband, enjoying everything this stunning, amazing country has to offer.
