​KURI Puppy Foundation Training
8 week course, max 5-6 dogs,
​1 Hour per session
(for pups from 7-16 weeks)

Give you and your puppy the very best chance for a perfect life together!

​The only way to do that is to learn how to communicate with dogs, it is the most important part of the course, if you can not communicate with your pup you can not teach them to do anything 

Access to the latest research keeps KURI up to date with Neurological mapping techniques that allow us to teach you how to communicate with your pup at a level we have never been able to achieve until 12 months ago

At KURI we place the emphasis on teaching you to become teachers, learning to read your pup's body language and teaching you how to correct behaviours without shouting, or saying “NO”, so you are able to reinforce any behaviour you would like to occur again, or stop the behaviour you do not like in an appropriate way. You are taught how to teach them what to do because as we all know, a lack of knowledge leads humans to resort to violence, something you will never do under our instruction at KURI

8 week course, max 5-6 dogs,

(for dogs 16 weeks and older)

KURI Level 2 Training
8 week course, max 5-6 dogs,
​1 Hour per session

This class is offered to all dogs that have graduated from one of the Foundation courses at KURI.

The goal of level 2 training is to offer families the chance to continue training with their pup or older dog according to the same principles and techniques used in their foundation class.

We will teach you how to make your dog greet visitors in a calm and controlled way, we expand on the walking training with new exciting exercises and we will build all the basics for distance control.

Please bring along a bed, towel or blanket for the visitor training.

 

KURI Level 3 Training
8 week course, max 5-6 dogs,
​1 Hour per session

This class is offered to pups aged 24 weeks up to adult dogs that have graduated from our LEVEL 2 Class.
The goal is to offer families the chance to continue training with their pup or older dog according to the same principles and techniques learnt and used before.

We will expand the walking training with more communication and real-life situations, we will improve distance control and introduce other exciting excercises.

8 week course, max 5 dogs, 
​1 Hour per session
(for dogs of +20 weeks)

 At KURI We place the emphasis on teaching you to become teachers, learning to read your dogs body language and teaching you how to correct behaviours without shouting, or saying “NO”, so you are able to address any behaviour you want or want to stop in an appropriate way. You simply teach them what to do…………a lack of knowledge and humans resort to violence, something you will never do under our instruction at KURI.

Reactive Dog Class Level 2
7 week course, max 5 dogs,
1 Hour

Please note: This class is only open to dogs that finished Reactive Dog Class Level 1.

In Reactive Dog Class Level 2 we bring more distraction to your dog and we teach you how to control your dog when off lead.

 

Tracking Class Level 1
5 week course, max 5 dogs,
1 Hour
(for pups 16 weeks up to adult dogs)

Private assessment at KURI centre needed beforehand to determine your dog's suitability: 15min

Then this is the class for you!
In order to teach you the principles of tracking we will first explain during a lecture how dogs’ instincts work and what they are capable of. Then during our practical classes your dog will learn the principles of hunting and how to use their nose on command. We will start tracking by using lead and harness and then move on to a tracking cord. Your dog will learn the basics about scent identification and we will teach you how you can make your dog find anything just by using scent. They can differentiate between your wanted object and others in a widespread area.

 

Tracking Class Level 2
5 week course, max 5 dogs,
1 Hour

Advanced level of tracking with a focus on cord handling. We're increasing the track distances and difficulties over hard and soft surfaces.

 

Initiation Agility
5 week course, max 4 dogs,
1 Hour
(for dogs of +20 weeks: all exercises are adapted according to the dog's age)

Please note: As dogs will be running loose we cannot accept highly reactive dogs for this class.

Nose Work Class
8 week course, max 5 dogs,
1 Hour
(for dogs of +20 weeks)

Is your dog keen on finding things using their nose? Always wondered how the Beagles at the airport get trained to find organic material?
Well, you can teach your own dog to do the same, plus exhaust them by exercising their brains during our 8 week nose work classes!

To be able to join the class, your dog needs to love looking for hidden treats or toys.
